As we all know moving and cleaning can be stressful, so we provide a wide range of services from local moving as well as island to island moving. We can do full pack and moves or if you just need the heavy items hauled. You can pick from a variety of trucks we have, to do deliveries and trash removal. For the cleaning, we can do a lot of move out/ in but we also offer maid services for the right clients. During the pandemic, we invested into doing disinfecting for viruses and other bacteria. Most properties we service do have carpet so we do carpet streaming as well as upholstery for beds and couches. Pressure washing is another big service many clients use us for. From doing the whole house to driveways, pool areas, and much more. We have mastered cleaning windows and screens for residential and commercial. Another service we provide is interior and exterior painting. If you shipping your vehicle or just need it detailed we can take that headache away with our auto detailing department. I am rating this review a 5 star review for a handful of very good reasons which I will explain shortly. A FEW HICCUPS Keep in mind, there were some hiccups and the experience was not perfect. I'm seeing some of this reflected in a handful of the reviews here. However, they were not so bad that I would not consider using them again. BAD NEWS FIRST I agree with some reviews, there were a few things they did not clean absolutely perfect. Some calcium spots in the bathroom were missed, a little soap scum overlooked in the shower, and adhesive stains (easily taken off with goo gone) left on the wall. I don't think it was so bad as some have stated. Overall, it was a great clean and more than I would have been able to do myself without having all the cleaning supplies and man power. Last thing I'll say in this bad news section is, there were a few other things that just didn't work out with timing but Andrew was willing to work through things that arose which may not have been expected. For some, this may equal a bad experience or warrant a lower rating, but I see anyone who can work with you and at least attempt to right wrongs, doing a good job. GOOD NEWS The best thing about Oahu Professionals is RESPONSIVENESS. If you have the time to shop around and be selective about your cleaning/moving options, DO IT. Go for it and clean/move yourself! You may end up saving some $$ in the long run. HOWEVER if you're like me, I had a last minute clean and move. I had a short/small window of time. I called SEVERAL moving companies. 2 places never even responded to my emails after a 24 hour window. I had to call them and even still, I was waiting for a quote for several days. The other 2 moving companies that did answer their phone, quoted me at around $2700 or more for a studio. Oahu Professionals handles the cleaning and the moving for much much less. Sure, it was still around the $1000 range for what I paid, but it's very very comparable to other professional movers (that don't do any cleaning, just moving) that take their sweet time to get back to you and will charge you far more. These guys gave me PEACE OF MIND where I thought I would not have any. I am very appreciative for them. Furthermore, Andrew gives you a rough quote ahead of time and unless there are drastic surprises that was not discussed beforehand, HE STICKS TO THE PRICE HE QUOTED. I used him for a large cleaning job, 2 large moving jobs, and a small moving job. Every step of the way, what he quoted is what he charges. We had to make some adjustments for some unforeseeable things, but he was reasonable and we found common ground for the work performed. I'll reiterate one more time. RESPONSIVENESS was huge for me and will be for you if you have a short window of time to move and/or clean. I hope that his quick responses and communication style never changes because this is what made the difference for me. Other companies wanted to send an estimator over and I had to schedule an appointment over the next week. Andrew works with texted photos to get a rough estimate to you almost instantly. OVERALL Thanks to Andrew and his team, they made my move/clean a much easier experience than without them. No one else was available to help or were far more expensive for my needs. Depending on your circumstances, these guys may be perfect! If they're not, just choose someone else. They do what they say, they charge what you're quoted, and work things out if necessary. Simple as that. Hope this helps. read less

However I quickly realized Andrews team was far superior than the others I had contacted. They showed up on time and were energetic, professional dressed & ready to rock & roll. From the start of the job to the very last piece of furniture moved they never wavered. These men came prepared. They had all the necessary tools & equipment; included extra boxes, straping, moving pads, door / floor protection, dollies etc. It was hot with periods of rain nowandthen. Didn't stop them one bit! No complaining no hidden charges and nothing was damaged or broken! These men were able to handle it all with ease. We had an incredibly heavy bedroom set and they moved it without breaking a sweat! Considering it was on the second floor with a 90 degree turn on the stairs coming down. I hadn't seen there website prior to booking. Andrew built his company with the intent to "do more for less". He offers much more than just moving & cleaning services. I will be eliminating many numbers from my iPhone. In other words forget the rest when you've got the best! In closing I wanted to say it's rare to come across a company that actually "do what they say & say what they do" Payment was easy. Venmo, cash app, PayPal etc! Once again no smoke and mirrors here! Price quoted was price paid. Actually I take that back.. there was the matter of the tip. No its not required nor did Andrew even mentioned it! This is NO brainer. Ever order a pizza? yeah it's like $40 bucks. $15 of which is delivery & tip. (Nonnagosible) 9 times out of 10 I'm disappointed but it's expected in that type of business. Seems weird how some folks will tip for this that or another but not think twice about NOT tipping the landscaper, plumber or pool service companies? Unlike other places I called and had to wait for the person to go through a list of items I wanted clean. He was highly responsive if I had follow up questions via text. My property manager informed me to make sure I selected a company that will do a great job for the move-out cleaning because she has experienced poor services from other companies. I wanted to make sure I got my full deposit back and I did. Andrew and his team came through and did an amazing job! Oahu Professionals offers a variety of services, including "special requests" and we happened to have one of those. We needed to declutter a room in our house ASAP and after talking to owner Andrew yesterday I was able to schedule our appointment for earlier today. I was later informed by my mom that despite the fact that they were pretty booked up already, they took our appointment because of how desperate we sounded (we were VERY desperate). I think this already speaks to Andrew's character and the quality of this business but there's a lot more to say about our satisfaction. Unfortunately I was not there to meet Andrew but he was very kind and polite when I spoke to him over the phone to discuss the details of my request and to receive a quote for the service. They were a bit late to our anticipated appointment time, but after hearing how busy they were we understood why. My mom informed me that they provided an excellent service and in the future we'll definitely be enlisting their services again in the future. I had returned to my apartment to spend a few days doing errands in Hawaii before returning back to Japan. I walked in the door of my unit after the tenant had moved out over a month prior and the wall of dog urine smell stopped me in my tracks. Attempted to open windows and febreeze for an hour but it was not sufficient enough to be able know we could sleep there that night. Being close to 5pm, I frantically called cleaning services on google to see who could come right away as this was beyond my expected cleaning plan and capability. Andrew and his team had already been booked up for the day, but came after their last appointment and did an expedient hour of deep cleaning. Shampooed the salvageable carpet with their machine, washed all the floor to ceiling mini blinds and windows, cleaned the bathroom mirror, wiped down the kitchen etc. Did all they could in a powerful deep cleaning hour. There is no way I could have done that much with rags and then trying to rent a rug doctor... The carpet cleaning alone and being able to be in the apartment after that for the night saved having to go to a hotel, especially in the midst of the beginning of the corvid-19 all haul on normal business operations. ~$400 for 1 hour multiple people cleaning a 1 bedroom apartment with industrial tools. Although I still had to go back and scrub the grout in the marble floor, scrub the sticky residue from cooking oil off handles in the kitchen, scrape the pee pockets from the wall, re-Spackle and paint, but those are beyond what I could ask of them in the short notice and the time that the were able to come- the main thing is I could handle the smell in the apartment after that to do the rest. The team did a phenomenal job on short notice - and can be texted to boot! Thank you so much! read less

Some companies were quoting me upwards of $350 for a one bed/one bath apartment, which was absurd to me. This company was able to quote me $150-$200 and Andrew assured me that he would look at the apartment first before giving me an official price. Andrew responded to me right away and answered all of my questions. On the actual day of the cleaning, Andrew called to let me know they would be late and asked if they could come the next day. I let him know that wouldn't work for me, so he made sure they came to finish the job. They were done in an hour and did a great job getting all the cleaning done. Very nice and professional workers, even though I know they were exhausted from their previous job that ran late. Only critical feedback I would give is that he asked to change the time of the cleaning a few times and that was a little stressful to deal with last minute, but overall, I would say I confidently recommend this company. read less
